G2 Esports League of Legends Staff Update

G2 Esports League of Legends Staff Update

Two LEC Championships. An MSI Trophy. A Worlds Final appearance. After such a fantastic season, we’re ready to get back on the grind and ensure we raise the Summoner’s Cup this year. As such, we’re bolstering our support staff to ensure the team has everything they need to become World Champions.

First, we’re pleased to announce the return of Fabian ‘GrabbZ’ Lohmann and Christopher ‘Duffman’ Duff as our head coach and head analyst for the 2020 season, respectively. Both have been integral not only in our incredible success in 2019, but also in paving the way towards it in 2018, notably in our unprecedented Worlds 2018 run. Their insight will be invaluable as we battle for the Summoner’s Cup, but we really can’t wait for the wacky picks and cheeky bants they’ll bring to liven up the splits.

In addition, we’re bringing the best of the best to support our roster behind the scenes. We’re excited to welcome Oliver ‘IzpAH’ Steer as our League of Legends General Manager. IzpAH was the manager for the famous “18-0” Fnatic roster before taking on the role for the prominent OG Dota 2 team, best known for their back-to-back wins of The International in 2018 and 2019. With 3 EU LCS titles and plenty of international experience under his belt, we’re happy to have his winning style to guide us to the Summoner’s Cup.

Speaking about the announcement, IzpAH says the following:

“I am incredibly hyped to join the best in the west and looking forward to carry the G2 flag and get carried by the boys to victory!”

To assist the team, we also welcome Luciana ‘AngelArcher’ Nadrag as an analyst. Previously the manager and analyst for Excel Esports, we’re glad to have her on the team, lending her expertise and perspective for the upcoming season.

On joining G2, AngelArcher says:

“Words honestly cannot describe how excited I am to be a part of such a renowned esports organisation like G2. This has been a dream of mine since joining esports and having the opportunity to showcase what I can do for these veteran players is a great honour. I hope to be a great asset to the team and the organisation, and hopefully with my help, will push them to finally become World champions.”

Be sure to give them both a follow on their socials!
